Rev. Kennedy Okosun,

Executive Chairman, Krif Ghana Ltd

Rev Okosun graduated from the University of Benin with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Public Administration in 1984.

He has an Executive MBA (Human Resource Management) from the University of Ghana Business School in 2008.

He is currently the Chief of Staff of Action Chapel International, a board member and founding member of the Ghana/Israel Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Board of Trustees of the All Nigeria Community, Ghana. He is the Chairman of the Action Business Forum (Airport Residential Area), past National Chairman, EMPRETECH Business Forum, past President and past Secretary General of the EMPRETEC Business Forum.

Until recently, Rev. Okosun was a board member of the Ghanaian German Economic Association and voted one of the top 50 prominent Nigerians living in Ghana by the Pleasures Magazine in 2017.Rev. Okosun has over the last 30 years succeeded in growing KRIFGhana Limited into the industry leader in the supply of Office Equipment, Office Stationery, Bank Equipment and Security Safes.

Rev. Okosun is a minister of the gospel, having been licensed by His Eminence Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams on Saturday, 4th December, 2010 and ordained as a Reverend Minister by the Archbishop on Sat. 4th December, 2015. He is very passionate about corporate governance and has led several roundtable discussions of the Ghana Good Corporate Governance Initiative periodically held in Ghana.

Philip Oti-Mensah

Managing Director, Omni Bank

Philip is a people-focused and result-oriented leader with over 14 years of experience in SME Banking. He was appointed CEO of OmniBank in January 2013, and has since led the transformation of the company into a strong reliable brand, with visible employee-focused development. His broad areas of expertise include strategy formulation, business planning and development, risk management and institution building.

He has played key roles in building successful SMEs in Ghana through various platforms over the last decade. During this period, he has achieved consistent growth, profitability and industry leadership for the organizations he has led. Prior to joining OmniBank,Philip held several positions including Deputy Managing Director of ProCredit Ghana, and an audit board member of ProCredit Bank, D.R. Congo.

Mr. Oti-Mensah holds a B.Sc - Banking and Finance and MBA - Project Management from the University of Ghana Business School. He also holds a ProCredit Banker Certificate (MBA Equivalent) in International Bank Management from ProCredit Academy (Germany). He is also a Certified International Change Manager and a member of the International Academy of Business and Financial Management.

Due to his virtues of Honesty, Integrity and Accountability, he is a member of the West African Nobles Forum. He currently won the prestigious 40 Under 40 Male Personality Honorary award 2017 and is currently the third most reputable Bank CEO in Ghana, among others..

Samuel Leslie Adetola

Founder/CEO, Capital Group

 Mr Adetola attended Achimota School and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Administration from the University of Ghana, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Business Studies from the London School of Economics and Political Science- UK and a Master’s Degree in Financial Economics from the University College of North Wales- UK.

He has also participated in many Executive Training Programmes in Europe and USA including the Wharton Business School, the New York Institute of Finance, Euromoney and Arthur D. Little. Worked with Nigerian Bottling Company PLC (Coca cola) for eighteen years of value-creating engagement as HR Practitioner, Business Management Process System Specialist and left as Corporate Training Manager and Head of Learning Centre. Dr Mrs Bernice Welbeck

Director, Administration and HR, National Labour Commission, Ghana

Dr (Mrs) Bernice Welbeck was the Head of Administration and Human Resources of the Commission from 2005 – 2013, before assuming the position of Ag. Executive Secretary in May 2013.

Dr. Welbeck is a Public Administrator and an Industrial Relations Practitioner and Consultant.  She is an International Consultant in Labour-Management Relations with focus on Negotiations and Conflict Resolution; she is also an Adjunct Lecturer in Industrial Relations.

As an Industrial Relations Expert, she has undergone several training on labour management relations at the International Training Centre of the International Labour Organization (ITC/ILO), Turin, Italy, Geneva, Switzerland, Hachiochi International Training Centre of Japan, Denmark, United States of America, among others.

Dr. Welbeck has presented various Papers on Labour-Management Relations at forums both national and international.

Among her international assignments,Dr. Welbeck has consulted as a Training Facilitator on Conflict Management Course for the Social Dialogue Desk of the International Training Centre of the International Labour Organization (ITC/ILO), Turin, Italy.

Anita Wiafe-Asinor

Anita has spoken at numerous international and local HR seminars and training events to senior HR managers, CEO’s operational directors etc., presenting a wide range of topics relating to compliance, best practice, organizational development, and recruitment, contract of employments and strategic HR management and development.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Psychology and Social Research from London Metropolitan University and a Master’s in Organisational Psychology from Birkbeck University (University of London).

She is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, The British Psychological Society and an approved level A and B tester in psychometric testing as well as a Trustee for two charities.

Having worked as a Security Architect, Solution Manager and Technical Design Authority for big Consulting firms and Service providers such as IBM, HP, ATOS, EMC & KPMG, and also in Financial Industry (Lloyds, ING, Barclays Capital, etc.), Del has acquired sound Technical & Commercial skills required for varied and complex environments.

Over 15 years’ experience as an Enterprise Architect, and Information Security Consultant, Del have been architecting and delivering IT projects within a variety of private & public sectors in Europe & Africa: NHS, DEFRA, BBC & Birmingham Council, Volta Region Development Authority. International Exposure – IBM (Germany), ING Bank (Netherlands), Emirates Airline (Dubai), Delta3 (Africa). Financial Industry includes projects for Visa Europe, LloydsTSB, Egg, Barclays Capital, RSA, ING and Reuters. Amongst other things, Del now shuttles between Africa & the UK, while concentrating on the fight against cyber criminals, advising clients on their IS/IT Vision, Information Security, Data protection, Security Strategy, Governance and Architecture, with a view to ensure consistency with their overall business vision and strategy. Del also provides Cloud Advisory Services and Cyber Security Awareness Trainings to individuals, Businesses & public sector organization in Europe and Africa.

William Easmon

HR Director, Barclays Bank

With close to 15 years progressive hands-on HR experience spanning the private, public, non-profit and financial sectors, William has an in-depth understanding of generational diversity and its direct effect on workforce engagement/productivity and by extension business strategy execution. His area of specialization is organizational design with focus on team interconnectedness and networking with the aim of ensuring business sustainability.

He brings his experience and understanding of generational issues into developing time-tested HR strategies in the organizations he has worked in. Emma Wenani

Director, Global Media Alliance (GMA)

Ms. Wenani has been with the organization for almost 8 years since she joined in 2010. She oversees her teams’ (Public Relations, Digital Marketing and Creatives and Brands) efforts in providing strategic and objective advisory and consulting services to the clients they work with.

Before her recent appointment, Emma held the position of Director of Human Resource at GMA where together with her team, they managed the HR processes for over 300 staff members across 9 business entities.

Prior to her moving to Ghana, she was working at Nairobi Stock Exchange in Nairobi, Kenya as a Public Relations Officer. Emma also has experience in the Media Industry in Kenya where she worked as a Marketing Executive for Nation Media Group.
Ms. Wenani is passionate about communication, personal development, coaching and mentorship. She often engages in coaching and mentoring programmes with young people in areas of career and personal development.

Rita Kusi

CEO, Keeping 'U' Simply Intact (KUSI) Consulting, an HR and Marketing Consulting company and Co-founder/Head of Operations at siro360, an online media platform.

She is an experienced Human Resource and Marketing Professional with a Bachelor of Science degree from the State University of New York at New Paltz. In 2011, she received a Professional HR course completion certificate from the HR Certification Institute at Pace University and is an active member of The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). Rita has 15 years experience in the field of Marketing and Human Resources and has a great deal of passion for job creation, digital storytelling, and tourism.

Alexander Oppong 

Alex is a Forensics and Information Securityprofessional with about 20 years of active Forensic experience.  He also has several years of experience performing various types of Information Security and Regulatory Compliance reviews as well as Cyber Security advisory services for clients in various industries. Prior to joining e-Crime Bureau, Alex was the Forensic Lead at KPMG in Ghana developing and providing forensic advisory services such as Investigations, Anti-money laundering, Forensic Technology and Fraud Risk Management for KPMG clients in Ghana, Liberia and Sierra Leone. He has also assisted the forensic teams of KPMG in Nigeria and South Africa. From August 2009 to April 2012, as part of the MIDA Compact Projects. 

Alex worked for several years as an IT Security and Investigations Consultant with the Fraud and Forensic Team of Control Risks Group, a large global business risk consultancy with headquarters in London. He also worked for BASIS Counter Fraud Investigation Branch – a UK government organization that investigated organized welfare benefits fraud. He was listed in the UK Law Society’s Expert Witness Directory from 2003 to 2009 for his expertise in Digital Forensics.

Amongst other qualifications, Alex is an Encase Certified Examiner as well as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).

He has been a speaker and delivered presentations at various workshops and seminars in Ghana relative to information security, anti-bribery & corruption, anti-money laundering, ethics & integrity, the subject of investigating computer-based crime and has contributed towards thought leadership papers and been quoted in several papers and online media articles in the area of his expertise.He has work experience in United Kingdom, Ghana, France, Italy, Spain, The Czech Republic, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Russia, UAE, Brazil, Jamaica, Nigeria, South Africa, Togo, Benin and Sierra Leone.

Kwaku Aboagye Acquaah

Kwaku  has spent the last 6 years designing, developing and deploying Learning and Development interventions at Fidelity Bank Ghana Limited. A Senior Human Resources professional with over 11 years Generalist and Specialist experience gained with top multinational and indigenous Banks in Ghana. He has depth of experience across Learning and Performance, Talent and Succession Management, Career Development, Employee Engagement, Industrial Relations, Resourcing, Graduate Management programs.

Kwaku designed and implemented the Fidelity Bank learning culture and strategy which saw the introduction of blended learning. The Fidelity Academè (E-learning platform) and the Fidelity Certified People Manager program, a customized management development program in collaboration with the Harvard Business School’s Manage Mentor (on-demand leadership development tool) program.

A member of the Institute of Human Resources Management Practitioners Ghana (IHRMP-GH). Opeyemi Akinwoleola

Opeyemi is a young entrepreneur addicted to the concept of the African innovator. He is a Fintech enthusiast, HRTech developer and a compassionate leader. He is the CEO of Dropque, a HRTech company positioned to be Africa's first intelligent talent application. He is also the convener of the Elev8 conferences in Nigeria which helps young, bright Nigerians realize their potential through innovation and technology.

Nii is a certified professional in human resources having close to a decade experience in generalist human resource management. He has been associated with a variety of companies spanning across the mining, oil and gas, agriculture, building and construction, retailing and consumer electronics industries. Nii is a thoroughbred professional who believes in making things happen. 

A graduate of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Nii is currently pursuing an LLB programme with the University of London, International Programmes.

Chris Mills

HR Director, Sub Saharan Region, Expro Gulf

Chris was appointed by Expro Gulf in 2012, as the Regional HR Director for SSA, one of Expro’s fastest growing and developing regions. He relocated to Ghana in 2011  after working in the UK for over 15 years.

He has an accomplished HR background having worked both in Ghana and the UK with organizations such as Network Rail, Thales, Carillion Health Plc. and prior to joining Expro,  with Standard Chartered Bank where he was the  HR Manager, with a client group that support six West African countries. 

Chris holds a degree in Business Management from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana and MSc in Human Resource Management from the University of Wales, Cardiff. He also a charter member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development(MCIPD) and CIM level 5 holder.  He has extensive experience in project & change management, coaching and Employee Relations.
