Executive Director, OmniBSIC Bank

Philip is a people-focused and result-oriented leader with over 15 years’ experience in Banking. He is currently the Executive Director of OmniBSIC Bank Ghana limited. Prior to his appointment as Executive Director of OmniBSIC Bank, he was appointed the CEO of OmniBank in January 2013, and led the transformation of the company into a strong reliable brand, with visible employee-focused development. He also led the company into a successful merger with sahel Sahara (BSIC) as part of the Bank of Ghana’s Banking Sector Consolidation.

Philip has held several positions including Deputy Managing Director of ProCredit Ghana, and an audit board member of ProCredit Bank, D.R. Congo. During the period, he achieved consistent growth, profitability and industry leadership for the organizations he led.

His broad areas of expertise include strategy formulation, business planning and development, risk management and institution building. He has played key roles in building successful Businesses and leaders in Ghana through various platforms over the last decade.

Mr. Oti-Mensah holds a B. Sc - Banking and Finance and MBA - Project Management from the University of Ghana Business School. He also holds a ProCredit Banker Certificate (MBA Equivalent) in International Bank Management from ProCredit Academy (Germany).

He is also a Certified International Change Manager and a member of the International Academy of Business and Financial Management. Due to his virtues of Honesty, Integrity and Accountability, he was awarded a Certificate of Membership to the West African Nobles Forum in 2014.

Dr Mrs Bernice Welbeck

Director, Administration and HR, National Labour Commission, Ghana

Dr (Mrs) Bernice Welbeck was the Head of Administration and Human Resources of the Commission from 2005 – 2013, before assuming the position of Ag. Executive Secretary in May 2013.

Dr. Welbeck is a Public Administrator and an Industrial Relations Practitioner and Consultant.  She is an International Consultant in Labour-Management Relations with focus on Negotiations and Conflict Resolution; she is also an Adjunct Lecturer in Industrial Relations.

As an Industrial Relations Expert, she has undergone several training on labour management relations at the International Training Centre of the International Labour Organization (ITC/ILO), Turin, Italy, Geneva, Switzerland, Hachiochi International Training Centre of Japan, Denmark, United States of America, among others.

Dr. Welbeck has presented various Papers on Labour-Management Relations at forums both national and international.

Among her international assignments,Dr. Welbeck has consulted as a Training Facilitator on Conflict Management Course for the Social Dialogue Desk of the International Training Centre of the International Labour Organization (ITC/ILO), Turin, Italy.

Augustina Kwao-Sarbah

Augustina is an HR Practitioner, IHRMP (Associate Member), Certified Neuro Linguistic Programming Coach (ABNLP), Gallup Certified Strengths Coach and CliftonStrengths® Trainer.  She also holds BA Hons in Social Sciences and MA in Industrial Management from KNUST.

Augustina's professional career spans over 15 years in the Banking industry and academia.  Her experience spans from Performance Management, Talent Management, Professional Coaching, Organizational Design, Project Management, Training and Development, Recruitment and Strategic Business Partnering.   She introduced Career Management Forums to guide employees in their career journey.   She also organized several self-awareness sessions for employees in all the companies she worked for, emphasizing that the only way for success is to lead from your area of strengths.    She initiated various strengths based transformative programs that brought about cultural changes with mindset shift and transformed underperforming teams to high performing ones.

Dr. Olayiwola Oladapo

Dr Olayiwola is a Nigerian Organizational Development Professional and thought leader with over 20 years cognate experience straddling private, public and development sectors and with core competences in Strategy, Human Capital Development and Governance development.

His work experience spans stints in management consulting executing organizational development projects for some of the Fortune 500 companies operating units in Nigeria that include Exxon Mobil, Shell, Coca Cola, British American Tobacco, and Peugeot. Dr. Oladapo has also worked in senior and executive management roles across different sectors that include healthcare, aviation, oil and Gas with Oando Plc, Hygeia and MMA2.

Dr Theophilus T. Tshukudu

Doctor of Human Resource Management & lecturer, University of Botswana

Theophilus T. Tshukudu is an Associate Professor of Human Resource Management in the Department of Management Faculty of Business, University of Botswana. He formerly was with University of Namibia, and currently acting as an external consultant for the following institutions: Institute of Development Management, North West University and Institute of Industrial Relations.

He is the Interim Chairperson of Labour and Employment Relations Association (ILERA) African Continental Assembly. He presented at 21 international Conferences and at five World Conferences. His publications include among others: five books chapters and 16 journals including Public Administration Training in Africa, Public Budgeting in African Nations and Deep Rooted Conflict: The Interface of the Botswana Labour Relations.

He is a regular reviewer for several journals. He has supervised 54 treatises, 6 research essays, 15 dissertations and 9 theses. Prof. Tshukudu acted as an external examiner for the following institution of Higher learning: for Milpark Business School, Nelson Mandela University, North West University, Rhodes University and Zambia Open University respectively with a total of 37 treatises, 21 dissertations and 15 theses externalised from 2010 to date.

Kwamina Amoasi-Andoh

Former National Programme Manager, ILO SCORE Project, HR, OSHE, LED and Enterprise Expert

Mr Amoasi- Andoh is the Former National Programme Manager of the ILO SCORE Project in Ghana.. ILO SCORE is a programme of the International Labour Organization that supports small and medium sized enterprise to grow and create more and better jobs by improving their competitiveness through better quality, productivity and workplace practices including HR and OSHE.

Prior to the vast experience with the ILO, Mr Amoasi-Andoh led five top level consultants and other external faculty experts in delivering consultancy services in management to Government, ILO, the Private Sector and the Development Partners.

As CEO of JENAD Consult, Mr Amoasi-Andoh succeeded in securing major consultancy assignments from reputable institutions such as DANIDA, ILO, the private sector and the Government of Ghana and led the firm to develop the Business Sector Advocacy Programme document, with a budget of US$20Million, for DANIDA and other Development Partners (DPs). He developed Local Economic Development Model documents for Sierra Leone with the ILO and has reviewed extensively all the ILO Programmes, projects and activities for the English-Speaking ECOWAS for the 2008-2009 biennium of the ILO. He led the firm to design the FRUIT GHANA Project funded by Coca Cola International with USAID implemented by ACDI/VOCA.

Mr Amoasi-Andoh has held many top positions in several organizations including being the Chief Executive Officer of Jenad Consult; Ghana Healthcare Company; National Programme Co-ordinator of the ILO Ghana Decent Work Programme; and Executive Director of Ghana Employers Association. He led the establishment of the Health Insurance system in Ghana as the first CEO. He also piloted the Ghana LED Project in the Central Region funded by the ILO which developed the National LED Policy and LED Manual for the MLGRD for the MMDAs.

He holds an MBA (Finance Major) and BA (Economics with Statistics) from the University of Ghana with professional trainings with the ILO and many organisations and institutions in many disciplines including HRM.
